Transit Directions to Seattle City Hall

There are many buses to choose from if you are taking the bus to the Seattle Streetcar Summit. Keep in mind that the transit tunnel will not be open in the morning when the Summit starts. For a link to the Metro Trip Planner with the date, time and destination pre-filled in, click here.

Driving Directions to Seattle City Hall

City Hall is open from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. The main entrance to the building is temporarily located midblock on 5th Avenue between James and Cherry Streets. For after-hours access to City Hall, call the security office at 684-8077. There is a call button located between the entrance doors on 5th for this purpose. Security cameras in City Hall are located throughout the public areas of the building. Cameras are monitored at all times.
For Saturday's Streetcar Summit, please enter City Hall on 5th Avenue

From I-5 northbound, take the James Street exit. Turn left (west/down the hill) on James Street and enter the garage mid-block between 5th and 6th Avenues. From I-5 southbound, take the James Street exit. Enter the garage from Sixth Avenue at James Street, or turn right (west) on James Street to enter the garage mid-block between 5th and 6th Avenues. SeaPark garage (shown on the map) is located on Sixth Avenue between Cherry and James Streets, on the east side of the new Justice Center. The vehicle entrances to the garage are located: On Cherry, mid-block between 5th & 6th Avenues On Sixth Avenue at James Street On James, mid-block between 5th and 6th Avenues City Hall is located one block due west of the garage. Entrance to City Hall is located midblock on 5th Avenue between James and Cherry Street.
